Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Community Consultation and Research
In
March 2006, Lamajo organised a major BME
Careers and Information Open Day event in Cardiff on behalf
of Her Majesty's Courts Service. The aim of the event was to ensure
that BME groups in the Cardiff area, who are underrepresented in
the workforce and judiciary were made aware of the employment opportunities
within the organisation and the requirements and benefits of becoming
a magistrate.
The day was very informative packed with key BME speakers, lively workshops
and mock trials.
